Whenever I visited SM, I always check-out Babies Section for new NBA shirts and jogging pants. Last week they have more NBA team designs on display.

I bought one set of Chicago Bulls (sando+jogging pants) for Xye. I wanted to buy the team Dallas too but there are no large size available.

Though Xye can still wear his medium size Celtics and Lakers sando and shorts that I have bought when he was still 3 months old but this time I bought one size larger.

And he looks so handsome in his new Chicago sando, although he is wearing an old ukay-ukay shorts.

Kids Basix Jumper

This Kids Basix Jumper set was given by Xye's godmother and our good friend Mia on his Christening Day. Before these clothes will be buried in Xye's closet forever I had him wear it and had a souvenir photo after.

Drum or the Music Player

These are the toys found at our bedroom and he usually play those before going to sleep. Now, this little guy is kind of confuse which of the 2 toys he'll going to pick first.

And you know what he picked first? The leap frog drum that he loves to beat and roll. The music player is his second choice at the this moment.

And for Kid's Style this little guy is wearing a Carter's Shirt with "Future Quarterback" written on it paired also with Carter's Jogging pants. Both were an ukay finds.

Hepatitis A Vaccine

Yesterday we went to Xye's pediatrician for a check-up because of some rashes that had grown on Xye's skin. According to his pedia there is nothing to worry about because those could be some viral rash and since it's not itchy and no sign of redness could be also because of his soap/cleanser. So or the meantime, we had to change Xye baby soap to cetaphil cleanser.

Supposedly, Xye also has to have his first booster of Pneumococcal Vaccine but because of the rash and the vaccine might give him fever, the pedia gave him the Hepatitis A Vaccine instead and the pneumococcal will be scheduled by next month.

Off goes the injection..

he cried for just few seconds then he's up again like nothing had happened.

What is a Hepatitis A Vaccine?

It is a type of vaccine that protects our child from hepatitis A virus. This type of hepatitis virus can cause serious liver diseases or even death. The virus are carried from stool or feces and can easily be transmitted by persons to persons. Like for example, you forgot to wash hands after using the bathroom, in that case you can be a carrier of the virus and might pass it on if you'll get in contact with other people.

We can protect our children from these viruses by having them vaccinated and also don't forget to observe cleanliness and proper sanitation.

Baby's First Books

These books were included in the Toy Kingdom's Mega Sale that I happened to visit last weekend at SM Mall of Asia. Got these at a discounted price of P100.00 each.

These cute books will surely help Xye on his quest to utter words. As of now he can only say "MAMA" clearly. Hope to hear more words from him soon..

Grocery Time with Xye

Xye and his nanny came a long with me on Monday afternoon for grocery shopping. Before going to the supermarket we went to the textile department to purchase 1 meter of very thick plastic cover that hubby asked me to buy. Bought a new set of spoon and fork for Xye and off to the grocery.

Xye really enjoyed his cart ride.

and he messed up my shopping list.

Xye's get-up was a Disney Mickey Mouse muscle shirt that I've bought after he turned 1 year old at Gaisano Mall, soft denim shorts, mickey mouse socks and his white shoes.

Safari Straw Cup

Xye had a Safari Party for his birthday, with that he received also a safari design straw cup from Looney Tunes, isn't it cute? A BPA free insulated flip flop straw cup with rattle that his Tita Weng one of my colleagues gave this to him as a gift.

I was planning to buy one for him, but with this I can shift the budget to another item. winks*

Toy Kingdom Holiday Sale

Yesterday Jefer and I were in Manila because of a promo plane ticket that we've got in August. And we're able to shop for toys at the Toy Kingdom's The Great Holiday TOY SALE at SMX Mall of Asia.

I bought educational books, flash card, shoes for my son (will be posted later) and including also these two (2) big toys but Xye's Godparents paid these two as their gift to him.

Lorellie my bestfreinds since high school who now lives in Laguna, whe went with us yesterday paid this MEGCOS Build-a-Truck toy. The discounted price is P 700.00 from previous retail price of P1399.75.

While Jefer paid this big truck from CAT, from P 899.78 now at P600.00.

Though Xye can't play these toys yet, but when the right time comes he will surely enjoy it. Thanks to his ever generous godparents and also my best friends.
